Many of the things I post on my blog I will also post on this forum, as time and circumstances allow. I would invite all who may be interested in doing so to visit my blog. I discuss some personal news periodically, but my main focus has been Church news in general and temple news and developments in particular. I welcome your feedback on my musings, whether that feedback comes on the blog itself or just through here. You can find my blog at the address below. Thanks. Stokes Sounds Off

I have done a couple new blog posts. This one discusses the latest apostolic statistics. (Updating those weekly is one of my many hobbies.) This one serves as my tribute to Elder Ronald T. Halverson, an emeritus General Authority who recently passed away. I welcome feedback on any posts I do, whether that feedback comes on this forum or on the blog posts themselves. I hope my work interests some of you. Thanks.

I have done several additional blog posts in the last little while, detailing some personal developments with my health and occupation and some Church news as well. I intend to do several more over the next little while as time, circumstances, and health may allow me to do. Thanks to you all for your interest and support.

Three posts done in the last 24 hours: an analysis and exploration of the Church's relationship with the Catholic Church and the attendance of LDS Church leaders at the installation of Catholic Bishop Oscar A. Solis, 10th bishop of the archdiocese of Salt Lake City; my revised and updated list of near-future temple possibilities (which is posted on this forum in the section relevant to that); and and updated temple construction progress report. Check it out at the link above. One more coming later today updating my estimated timeline for future temple-related events. Enjoy, and let me know your thoughts, either on one of the topics here, or on the blog posts themselves.

I have once again redone my list of near-future temple possibilities. This time, I have sorted them into the most likely order in which they will be announced after putting them into the areas of the Church under which they fall, and those areas are listed in alphabetical order. Rather than reproducing the entire list here, I would refer you to where it is featured on this blog, the section discussing temples. So the discussion can continue there. Thanks.

Another set of blog posts done during the last little while. The ones I am most proud of are temple construction progress updates (shared here) and a general update on the lives of my wife and myself, including the note that I lost my job and the aftermath that has followed. If any of those posts look interesting, you can find them at the link below. Thanks. stokessoundsoff.blogspot.com

Within the last couple of days, I have done two more blog posts, both of them temple-related. I don't think there is anything in them that I have not reported or shared in the section of this forum that has been designated for discussion about temples. You can check out my blog for the latest updates, such as they are. I am hoping to do at least three this weekend that I've had in mind for quite a while, but we will play things by ear, depending on how I am feeling during that time. In the meantime, please be sure to visit, enjoy, and to let me know what you think, whether that feedback comes as comments on the blog posts themselves or through such comments on this or any other subject on this forum. Thanks again.

While I have not been able to post on my blog as much as I had hoped to in recent days due to personal and familial circumstances, I have been able to do at least a few posts, and more are coming this week as I am able to make that happen, most significantly a revised prediction for the timeline by which future temple-related events might be announced and scheduled, an analysis, exploration, and discussion of general conference news, events, and developments, and my efforts to follow through on posts I have been promising my readers for some time now. Any comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks to you all for your attention in this regard. You are appreciated.
